Dr. Shahab Ghorashi is a general psychiatrist. He completed his psychiatry training at the University of Toronto. Before his residency, Dr. Ghorashi obtained a PhD in Cognitive Psychology at the University of British Columbia, where he studied attentional phenomena in the human brain. He then attended Harvard Medical School for a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuroscience. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Ghorashi remained at Harvard as a faculty member and researcher, working on cognitive deficits in psychiatric conditions, before returning to Canada. He has a special interest in neurodevelopmental, as well as mood and anxiety disorders.
